There’s no denying Xbox GamePass is fantastic value, but after browsing the recent additions, it’s clear that the quality we’re getting from Microsofts subscription service right now is unbelievable.
So let’s take a look at what’s been added to Xbox Gamepass in the last month, and check out their average review scores, we also list the retail price (linking to xbox.com) for what each game would cost.

With a total of 15 games, this list would usually cost £358.35.
So with a single month of Xbox GamePass, That’s a saving of £347.36

A Plague Tale: Requiem 84% (£49.99)

One of my favourite games of the year, and possibly the first real step into next-gen gaming, Amicia and Hugo’s journey was action-packed, beautiful and best of all it was available on Gamepass on the day of release.

SOMA 83% (£24.99)

I haven’t played SOMA since its addition to Gamepass, but I did complete it and thoroughly enjoy it when it was originally released on PC. A high-quality Sci-Fi horror from the makers of Amnesia: The Dark Decent.

Amnesia: Rebirth 79% (£24.99)

Another great horror game that arrived just in time for Halloween, I’m yet to play Rebirth, but when I finally work through some of my backlog, I’ll be looking forward to catching up with this one.

Amnesia: Collection 77% (£24.99)

A fantastic collection of the first three Amnesia titles, not a full remake as some would have liked, but it’s a great opportunity to return to the horror that started the let’s play revolution.

Persona 5 Royal: 94% (£49.99)

Persona 5 Royal gives us the highest score from this list with a massive 94%, I’m yet to play it, but it’s another BIG game for the backlog when I finally get time to commit to it.

Signalis: 82% (£16.74)

A classic survival horror experience set in a dystopian future where humanity has uncovered a dark secret, and if that’s not enough to make you want to play Signalis, the very impressive 82% definitely should.

Gunfire: Reborn: 77% (£17.99)

FPS, roguelite and RPG elements in a game that can be enjoyed online and cross-platform for 2-4 players, sign me up!

The Legend of TianDing: 82% (£16.99)

Another perfect example of the variety on Gamepass, while it’s not a title that will catch your attention, the respectable 82% certainly will.

Ghost Song: 80% (£16.74)

The atmospheric sci-fi 2D adventure crept onto gamepass and received an impressive 80% over on OpenCritic.

Football Manager 2023: 83% (£39.99)

While this football mega-franchise isn’t quite as popular on console as it’s PC counterpart, Sports Interactive have done a great job of bringing a much deeper game to consoles this last few years, FM23 is the latest in the line and without a doubt the best football management game available on consoles.

Return to Monkey Island: 88% (£20.99)

Series creator Ron Gilbert returns to reignite the classic Monkey Island franchise, and with an amazing 88%, he’s clearly done a fantastic job.

Vampire Survivors: 87% (£3.99)

There’s little else to describe Vampire Survivors other than a must-play, it’s dated graphics wont please everyone, but it’s fun, frantic immersive and deeply addictive gameplay will keep you coming back again and again.

Somerville: 72% (£22.49)

The Sci-Fi adventure, looks a very similar format to indie forerunners, Limbo and Inside, and if it plays anything like them, it’s sure to please plenty of fans.

Pentiment: 86% (£14.99)

Pentiment has received quite a lot of hype for what doesn’t look the most appealing, but like Vampire Survivors earlier in the list, it’s a game that really starts to shine when you explore it for yourself, best of all if you’re a Gamepass subscriber, checking all of the games in this list, wont cost another penny.

Norco: 91% (£12.49)

A text-based, point and click adventure, further evidence that Gamepass is packed with variety and with an OpenCritic score of 91% it’s clearly packed with quality too.
