A Plague Tale: Requiem, the spectacular, grounded medieval adventure within a violent fantasy world, has been nominated in no less than five categories for The Game Awards 2022, including the coveted Game of the Year award! Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment are thrilled by this exciting chance, which confirms the overwhelmingly positive reception of the game.

​Part of the success undeniably goes to the game’s remarkable score, also nominated for The Game Awards, composed by Olivier Derivière and featuring world-class performers. They gave an exceptional concert for the occasion of the game’s release, which is going to be available to watch on YouTube to celebrate the successful first weeks and nominations for The Game Awards. Watch the concert’s premiere on YouTube, today at 6PM CET/5PM BST.


Five nominations at The Game Awards

 
A Plague Tale: Requiem’s five nominations at The Game Awards 2022 are:

  • Game of the Year, recognizing a game that delivers the absolute best experience across all creative and technical fields;
  • Best Action/Adventure, for the best action/adventure game, combining combat with traversal and puzzle solving.
  • Best Narrative, for outstanding storytelling and narrative development in a game;
  • Best Score and Music (Olivier Derivière), for outstanding music, inclusive of score, original song and/or licensed soundtrack;
  • Best Performance (Charlotte McBurney – Amicia), awarded to an individual for voice-over acting, motion and/or performance capture;


Players have until December 7th at 6 pm PT to vote and help choose the winners in all categories via thegameawards.com!
